During my senior year at RIT I took a job with a small yet progressive company that produced multi-image slide presentations -- yes, the days before the luxury of PowerPoint -- for the little business next-door, Eastman Kodak Company. Because it was a small firm with a huge responsibility, I quickly found myself handling every aspect of my work from the client's call (typically the CEO or someone close to him) to reporting the profit. I later happily discovered that my job had an official name... "Project Manager".

That experience, from those early years, proved to be invaluable throughout my career. I loved project managing. Still do. I've never stopped. I even made it official through recent formal training for PMP certification... common sense procedures to me after more than 25 years of experience.

It's simply wonderful when I have the opportunity to Project Manage something related to what I love... the environment, photography, design... I hope there will soon come a day when I can do that for a living. If you know something, please don't hesitate... info@kristensalvatore.com.
